2021 Jeep Cherokee

There are seven trim levels of the 2021 Jeep Cherokee, starting with the Latitude base trim. The Latitude features automatic LED headlights, remote-activated approach lights, a black grille with a chrome surround, power-heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED taillights, roof rails, and 17-inch silver aluminum wheels. Step up to the Latitude Plus trim and get LED fog lights. Choose the Altitude trim level for 18-inch black aluminum wheels and interior upgrades. The all-new Latitude Lux trim level adds a few extra color options and 17-inch satin carbon aluminum wheels. Enjoy a sunroof when you opt for the Limited trim level. The Trailhawk option is off-road focused with exterior features like front and rear tow hooks. The top trim level is the High Altitude option with luxury features inside and out, including 19-inch silver aluminum wheels and a power liftgate.

There are three engine options for the 2021 Cherokee. The base engine is a 2.4-liter Tigershark Multiair 2 four-cylinder engine with a flow control valve intake manifold and dual variable valve timing. Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, this engine offers up to 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. Upgrade to the available 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque, and you'll have the power to tow up to 4,500 pounds. A 2.0-liter turbo engine is also available for some extra torque. This engine gets up to 270 horsepower, 295 pound-feet of torque, and boasts a 4,000-pound towing capacity when properly equipped.

If you're looking for some serious off-road capabilities, consider the Trailhawk trim. This is the one Cherokee trim that has earned Jeep's Trail Rated badge. This model is prepared for water fording, thanks to special water sealing, high air intakes, and rock crawling with higher clearance and traction control. There are three 4x4 systems available for your Cherokee. The Jeep Active Drive 4x4 option automatically switches between two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes when necessary to provide extra grip when you need it and preserve fuel when you don't. An available Active Drive II system offers a 4-Low driving mode and locking front and rear driveshafts for better towing. Available on the Trailhawk trim, an Active Drive Lock system provides different driving modes to fit your terrain, like rock mode or low range modes for towing.

The 2021 Cherokee provides seating for five people or 54.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seat folded down. Keep everyone comfortable with available interior perks like heated and ventilated seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather seating surfaces. Jeep's Uconnect4 infotainment system provides easy smartphone integration and hands-free voice activation controls.
